RARE Original limited pressing that was in & out of circulation seemingly overnight ... a previously unreleased HARD PSYCH "KRAUTROCK" gem with the 'right sound' was all but an uterrly buried, unknown acetate that was resurrected by this long gone British pressing ...
IRMIN's WAY ... a long time lost heavy-kraut-rockin'classic. Irmin's Way is an English-German band whose name is taken from the Saxon mythology. They released only one album "Opus; Destroy" in 1976. The album ventures from thrilling space rock to astonishing symphonic heavy rock attacks. With English voice, heavy guitars, complex keyboards, long weaving tracks...what more could you want ?...if you missed it in the blink of an eye of its release -- here, a last chance...The cutting hard rock riffs and bombastic synths make a very successful combination
with crunchy rock passages. all said, the Krautrock-factor makes it all somehow fit.
The epic 22:36 side long track "Opus, Destroy" starts off quietly then builds full of high energy first-class works...overall the production is crude & raw which is suitable for the underground style of Irmin's Way...
