PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! For 'Last' the Agitation Free ranks had swelled to a seven-strong line-up featuring Michael Hoenig(sound effets, keys), Gustl Lutjens (vocals), Dietmar Burmeister(drums), Michael Gunter(bass), Burghaud Rausch(drums, keys, vocals), Jorg Schwenke(guitar) and Lutz Ulbrich(guitar, keys), giving the group a layered and powerful sound that resonates with an earthy, cosmic intensity.
The material from 'Malesch' is given a wide birth in favor of the group's more psychedelic acid-orientated soundscapes, with the live favorite 'Laila' given a full and epic airing in two deeply psychedelic parts, whilst the electronics/spacey keys are also pushed to the fore by Michael Hoenig, who contributes startling synth sections that, along with the almost celestial guitar-playing of cosmic twin guitarists, give the group a richly-textured, mystical sound bringing to mind Ash Ra Tempel's trippy experimentation blended first LP with soaring guitar tones.
The soft, throbbing bass-lines appear throughout the album help to maintain the soothing, spacey atmosphere, though the guitars occasionally let rip with a beautifully-constructed solo in 'Laila Pt 2'.
Fans of Amon Duul II, Guru Guru's more serene moments, Ash Ra Tempel, former Gong guitar-star Steve Hillage will find much to admire in this bluesy krautrock odyssey, and will do well to check out "AGITATION FREE" '2nd' LP creating the same foundation, '2nd' and 'Last', along with the groups Egyptain-and-Cypriot-inspired first "Malesch"LP, are the essential Agitation Free albums collectively. Though their main 3-LP catalogue is small, it's well worth investigating, especially for those who enjoy the more adventurist side of krautrock
