Notes : the tunes on the first side are composed and conducted by Marcello Melis whereas those on the second side by Teimar. In my humble opinion and without any absolute certainty, the alias Teimar (whose meaning in Portuguese and Galician is "to be obstined") might be Melis himself for their community of music personality and idea. In any case we are faced with very interesting and tasteful tracks. An album featuring mainly dance tunes, as stated by its title, yet with some relaxing and calm pauses. The rhythmics are mainly lively and also too-hectic, the instrumentation is analogue : organ, piano, guitar, brass instruments, bass, drums without use of electronic devices.  Among the tunes : " PORTO CRUZ ", based on blithe Spanish rhythms with fast development, the two bossas " PORTOFINO " and " PORTO S. STEFANO "; the first characterized by a sweet and relaxing atmosphere whereas the second has a bigger sound intensity with an excellent perfomance of the guitarist. Furthermore " FLASH PUBBLICITARI ", based on very fast rhythm and well underlined by a powerful bass, " OPEROSITA' " even here hectic pace with exciting improvisations by Hammond organ, " DEFILE' ", a dance tune characterized by special atmospheres with a hint of psychedelia; finally " PETTEGOLEZZI " by the pressing sound especially from the bass and with freaky background vocalisms.
