Aside from the mega rare $2000 valued 1st pressing, came the first 2nd pressing just some 15 years after the original; a British limited edition production on the infamous PSYCHO label. Long rare by 2nd pressing standards, from 27 years back - the Holy Grail West Coast psychedelic gem is of top flight level, when talking obscure psychedelic bands from the USA sixties...

“Music Emporium" could be called a sunshine-popsych masterpiece but surprisingly is much more than that. With such translucent quality and crystalline songs this lonely album of a lonely act should be, and is, considered a true lost jewel of late 60's. 1969 was the year of King Crimson's debut and the arise of the dark British heavy rock scene, so this psychedelic-West Coast album adding an ubiquitous church-organ and female drummer seemed dislocated at those times, since no one worshiped its qualities until the record was first reissued in on this Psycho label 27 years ago.

Considered a flawless album of the genre, where irresistible sunlighted atmosphere plays with delightful games of female & male vocals and backing vocals amid fuzz guitars and lysergic organ. A few times the album falls into darker places (the fabulous "Cage" or the intense "Day of Wrath") but also this gloominess isn't a bleak one. This damn beautiful album is largely mysterious like an esoteric fellowship with each one of us as a member. And be careful, because at the very first listening this beauty isn't what it seems --rather it's an unexpected growing one of the best kind. In other words the more you play it the more it grabs you...

Many may have not realized at the time of the albums release, a track like "Catatonic Variation" (pure uplifting poetry) could ever exist in those times...

CONDITION: The cover is fragile and delicate being a British production, been well handled and is very clean and crisp M- with no bends, no writing and no split seams... 

The vinyl is all glossy clean and clear M- looks shiny smooth across both sides...
