Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. ULTRA RARE UK 1968 1st PRESSING MONO XTRA LP (1063)
This is one of the rarest records I have ever offered for sale it is so rare I have never seen another copy in a life time collecting and going to hundreds of record fairs and second hand vinyl shops, it was even hard to get new back in 1968 very few was pressed. Most rare records now turn up on E bay but this blues gem just never does! I understand that many people may find the title of this record offensive ,it is not my intention to offend anyone I am simply selling a record. This is a ultra rare UK pressing it does not come any rarer than this. Married at 15, Mable Hillery had six children by the age of 25. She was 38 when this album was released in 1968. Mable was born in the cotton lands of southern Georgia. She was discovered by Alan Lomax. She is a great singer. Eight out of the eleven songs are her original compositions. This is a studio album with Brian Green's Jazz band and Bill Farrow on guitar. You may never find another copy of this record it is also in superb condition both record and cover it has been very well looked after since new.

The LP is in superb condition with a wonderful full gloss, I will grade as Excellent condition if not EX+. The LP has been played very few careful times.!!!!! . The sound of the LP is great on both sides. My site will have the strictest of standards and my grading is very fair to the buyer, you will not be disappointed I do not think you will see a beter example you may never see this again.

The flipback cover in superb condition with superb lamination on the front and ultra clean back panel with straight spine. I will grade the cover as a top Excellent condition. As you will see by the pictures this grading is very strict and very kind to the buyer of this wonderful LP, A real nice example.

Both original Textured labels Are in Near Mint condition both are superb examples.

The original paperinner is in a great Excellent condition. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to the original when in the post.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
