Madden and Harris – Fools Paradise
1975 Acid Folk Oz
Thank you for looking at my item.
Here on offer is the jewel in the crown in Australia’s acid folk albums. Recorded in 1975 this independent gem was issued on Jasmine Records 4791/64. This incredibly rare Australian only release features:
· Peter Harris – piano, synth, guitars, organ, mellotron, violins, etc
· Dave Madden – synthi vocals, guitars, synth, etc
There are also a number of other musicians on the album.
This album features a number of styles from acid folk to a touch of progressive rock. Their brilliant vocal harmonies make this album a beautifully haunting musical experience.
This particular album came from a radio station. The bottom 0.5cm has been cut off – possibly for security purposes but the cover still looks good.
The prized lyric sheet is included. Has some minor staining.

CONDITION
Cover – Bottom 0.5cm cut off. Radio stamp on front cover. Gatefold inner cover has an awesome painting of naked girl on a horse etc. Other than the above the cover looks great – Good.
Vinyl – The vinyl has some superficial to light marks which result in an occasional crackle or pop but the music still wins out. Not mint but still very acceptable. A good clean could enhance the condition. VG-.
Although not mint this is a more than adequate copy of this rare collectable Australian masterpiece of acid rock.
