This is a super rare chance to bid on/buy a virtually MINT 1974 vinyl album of Butterfly Farm by Madder Lake !
Madder Lake were one of the very original groups to emerge on the Australian music scene in the early 1970’s !
Butterfly Farm was recorded October 11-17 & 21-24 October 1973. It was their 2nd album and was released in April 1974 - It achieved gold status !
The Band members are –
Mick Fettes (vocal), Brendon Mason (guitars), Andy Cowan (keyboards, vocals), Jack Kreemers (drums, vocals) & Kerry McKenna (bass, vocals)
Mick Fettes’s distinctive vocals were an important part of Madder Lake’s energetic prog-rock-psych sound.
The distinctive details of the ‘other worldly’ art work on the gatefold matte finish sleeve set this record sleeve apart from most others !
The front and back of the gatefold insert shows colour concert photos of the band members & The inside of the gatefold insert shows a colour photo of the group standing in front of a house along with a few cows and a dog !
