MADONNA LP "Like a Virgin" ULTRARARE ALTERNATE GRAFFITI COVER

Never seen in all my life this incredible item!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bouht it together with Madonna's other items (that I put On-Ebay, if You want check them) at Utrecht Record Fair, by an american guy. To be honest, when I bought it, I didn't know what it was, but I was astonished by the fantastic cover. A cover that I've never seen in all my life. I asked notice to that guy, but He told me that records belonged to his sister, and He didn't know anything about this strange LP. However, when I returned in Italy, I played it and.........BIG SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...........It's like a virgin, by Madonna. I tried to ask notice about this strange issue by some friends of mine, but nobody ones satisfied me. Unfortunately, I'm an old Rock rare records expert, and I can give You some other info. However one thing is sure:.......this is not a common LP.

The cover is absolutely an HAND MADE COVER with a strange painting on the front, the back shows only the centre painted by black with the writing J. M. Basquiat (probably the name of the artist) plus some strange graffitis. The cover is surely an 80s cover, this I can assure You. It's thin, light weight as all 80s covers. And the record is surely Like a Virgin album, because I played it. As regards album it has incredible black label, and one shows the writing I AM VIRGIN. These two black labels, without titletracks seems to tell us: it's probably a TEST PRESSING, but it's impossible tell it surely. As regards conditions, cover is in EXCELLENT conditions, without particular defects, and record is in EXCELLENT to MINT MINUS conditions, and play well.

I don't know any person very very expert in Madonna rarities, so I start my auction with only 1 dollar price,........but I'm sure this could be a rare record.

VERY VERY IMPORTANT: I've received a lot of questions about cover (how it's thick, texture, etc),........... maybe I was not clear in my description. The cover is surely an hand made cover completely painted on front, and painted only in the centre of back. As regards thickness, it's about 1 mm, (surely it's not a 60s cover, because too thin). As regards surface texture, only thing I can do is to add some other photos. There aren't any writings (for example name of the artist and title of the album, etc) on spine, which is white. I wish to specify (as I wrote in my description) that I'm not an expert in Madonna rarities , and I haven't found none that could help me here in Italy, ......so I can't assure You about its authenticity. Only thing I can tell You, is that cover looks really like an 80s cover. Strange black labels on side A and B, don't show any writings (titletracks, name of the artist, etc)......only the writing "I am Virgin"......but (as I wrote in my description) the vinyl is surely LIKE A VIRGIN, because I played it. Besides it's absolutely an original one, with the following matrix numbers: 1-25157 JW1 , 1-25157-B JW2. To conclude, ........black labels on vinyl suggest us that this copy could be a test pressing,...but this is only an hypothesis,.........and I can't assure You about that. The only thing I can tell You is that this copy has the strangest cover ever seen in my life, so could be a rare record. (If You have any questions don't hesitate to write me. Good luck)
