Description
Incredibly rare promo plaque produced by Maverick to promote the US release of the album ‘Music’. The plaque measures 17x11 inches (43x29cms) and consists of a very thin piece of copper-coloured metal (which I believe is actually copper) mounted on card. All the images and text on the plaque are embossed, which makes it look very cool indeed.
As you can see from the photo, the top right-hand corner of the plaque has been knocked (the plaque is quite fragile and easily bent), but otherwise it’s in nice condition. Please note: that the photos exaggerate the colour variation on the plaque, and it doesn’t look nearly as ‘stripey’ in real life.
One of the main Madonna collector’s websites mentions that they’ve only seen one for sale since the album was released in 2000! So probably one of the rarest promo items you’ll come across.
Please see my other listings for more memorabilia including rare music awards.
