HIGHLY RESPECTED British folk rock ensemble who issued a number of well received album on the Vertigo label during the early seventies. This is I think, is their fifth album for the label. Musically the band are really maturing at this stage showcasing some decidedly rich material with a sense of direction and purpose normally only reserved for the cream of the folk rock crop. Think Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention and obscurities such as Dando Shaft.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Italy, UK, 1973
Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny condition - looks to be unplayed. No spindle marks visible and no other signs of use. Grades as a strong shop fresh MINT!
Cover: Again, no visible signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed Roger Dean fully laminated cover - retains full gloss. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is stiff, square and uncrushed. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
