Hello again! you are considering bidding on a MAHAVISHNU ORCHESTRA LP DANCE OF MAYA VG+ READ! P1389 stereo. The cover sheet is not attached to the jacket; it says "We believe these recordings are from either late 1971 or early 1972". Released in the mid-1970's.
WOW is all I can say - this blew my mind today spinning the boots - Korny as it may sound, this is a very good jam.
Condition is VG+/VG+ Cover has shrink still on and vinyl is very nice but has some pressing issues, not sure what this is called but it looks like the record got rubbed before curing - maybe still too hot when it got into the jacket? I have seen this look before and it doesn't always mean the end - I am listening now and I am very happy - I could hear it with a slight wobble at the begining of the trail-ins and during quite periods/ solos but still did not detract from the overall enjoyment - I will down grade this one for the flaw VG+/VG+ (vinyl/cover).

This is how we grade the records - Goldmine Standard for listing the condition of items for sale.
Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Certainly never been played, possibly even still sealed. Should be used sparingly as a grade, If at all.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. Near Mint is the highest price listed in all Goldmine price guides. Anything that exceeds this grade, in the opinion of both buyer and seller, is worth significantly more than the highest Goldmine book value.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Generally worth 50 percent of the Near Mint value. A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. We usually only list items that are VG+ at least unless it is a rare item and then we would describe any defects in detail.
