Description

Sir JOHN BARBIROLLI / MAHLER : Symphony No. 9 , performed by The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra . 1964 Stereo 2LP set , First Pressing on HMV ASD 596 & 597 First Semi label [ 3 sides ] . Both SLEEVES are in Excellent Condition . The RECORDS - sides 1 & 2 have a couple of very minor visual marks , they are extremely light and produce no noise . Side 3 is unmarked . There are no more than 1 or 2 spindle marks on the labels and the records have obviously been played very little. As you would expect , there is no distortion and the records play to an Excellent or better grading . I have cleaned this record once on my Moth record cleaner using isopropyl alcohol . This 2LP set [ 3 sides ] is EXTREMELY RARE and has a high “ book “ price , so I have set a fair reserve on it. This is a rare opportunity to obtain an example in excellent condition . All LPs are cleaned on a Moth mk. 2 record cleaner, are visually inspected and any marks are tested for noise on a high quality system . Records are removed from sleeves for dispatch and are sent in new mailers. I am happy to combine purchases to save on postage costs .
