Mainhorse originally signed to Polydor Records in 1970. This pressing was made from the original plates prior to official pressings, to ensure that the metal plates were perfect. I purchased the album from a former member of the Polydor Records Production Team.
Mainhorse signed originally to Polydor Records in 1970 and released their self-titled debut in 1971. The album whilst showing immense promise enjoyed only limited success commercially and the band disbanded shortly after the album failed to catapult the band to worldwide stardom.
Along with Patrick Moraz the other musician of note was Bryson Graham who would go on to play with Gary Wright in Wonderwheel and then join Wright in a re formed Spooky Tooth in 1972.
Cover Condition : Excellent - Near Mint ! - Textured cover with only some very, very mild edge wear ! All seams are fully adhered and intact and spine is strong and clear !!! LABELS ARE BLANK WHITE AND CLEAN !!!
Vinyl Condition : Excellent / Near Mint ! A few light hairlines and very light scuffs only !
Aural Evaluation : Played through really well with a robust sound !! No pops, skips or jumps and very little surface noise at all !!!
