Very rare gatefold sleeve French original LP by legendary UK popsike gem
originally released in Holland,Germany and France only...
Only the French pressing has a gatefold sleeve and a mirror in the inside...
Began as The Mustangs in Hull, they renamed themselves The Majority and
moved to London, where they released eight singles for Decca before renaming
themselves Majority One in 1968.
At the end of '68, they were backing Barry Ryan on his top ten hit "Eloise".
Their first single was "Charlotte Rose", written by George Alexander from
Grapefruit. Their most successful one was "Because I Love" in 1971(included here)...Their highly melodic songs evoke everything from 60s-era Bee Gees
and Moody Blues, to haunting McCartney-like balladry, yet Majority One were
still able to forge a distinctive sound based on these impeccable influences. But the music can also pleased to any Andwella's Dream,Koobas,Kaleidoscope and affecionados...

S/S = still sealed
M = mint , new or unplayed condition…cover is nice and new looking with no ring wear.
M- = near perfect copy, played only a few times.
EX = only slight signs of wear; very clean, only light surface marks which will not distract
significantly from the sound…sleeve also has only slight wear, and is still in nice
collectible.
VG++ = played often with moderate surface wear and some moderate noise, still plays well…
sleeve may have medium overall wear or some ring wear.
VG+ = overall wear, but no skips of serious defects, more noisy sound during quiet passages…
sleeve is well worn, usually with considerable ring wear.
VG = plays a lot, heavy wear on record and cover…guarantee does not apply to vg- or worse
condition records.
