Description
This is the original gatefold pressing on Victor Japan of "Journey without End" by Mal Waldron and Steve Lacy with Kent Carter and Noel McGhie. A phenomenal and very rare 1971 studio session produced by MPS guru Joachim E.Berendt. One of my all time favorite jazz albums; this is a spare copy. Side One features Waldron compositions and side two features Lacy compositions...fantastic structured pieces and incredible recording quality.
Cover is in EX to NM condition with no seam splits..just some extremely minor agewear around the top rear spine - only noticeable with close inspection.
Vinyl has two small inaudible scuffs/marks on side two, track one. Otherwise it looks and plays EX to NM with just a few very soft clicks audible at the beginning of each side.
All in all a real nice copy; not stone mint but close to it. Fans of Japo, Hat Art, FMP, etc take note.
Money order or paypal only please!
North Americans add $11; overseas $25. Apologies but this is an extra heavy g/f album which will be packed well - these are actual post costs.
