RECORD CONDITION

Completely clean and unmarked. The spindle areas display the kind of wear that is commonly associated with a record that has only ever been played two or three times; a really minimal amount of wear; incredible to see on an album of this age!
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both sides of the record display a brilliant pure clean gloss, so immaculate that it makes this 40 year old item look brand new! A closer look under strong light doesn’t show up any hidden faults or nasty surprises. The most I can mention here are a few of the faintest totally non-sounding paper scuffs and brush marks but I’m really over stating the case by mentioning them. It is very hard to find 1970 collectable vinyl in this kind of brilliant condition.
Play: NEAR MINT
The whole of the record plays with supreme audio clarity. My one very careful play did not reveal any problems with the sound at all. All the way it was crisp clean and a real pleasure to experience. There is no background noise or distortion and no pops, clicks or skips. Between the tracks everything is quiet other than the sound of the needle running through these beautiful clean grooves. This remains the best format on which to truly experience essential music recorded in this era!
COVER CONDITION
Gatefold sleeve: EXCELLENT
The whole cover remains completely intact with no serious damage or wear. There are one or two extremely minor marks on the front and back, the spine is smooth with only a bit of light minor scuffing and clearly legible text; the top and bottom edges only have a bit of light rubbing as well but absolutely no bad scuffs or seam splits. There isn’t any majorly visible ring-wear anywhere on the sleeve, inside or out. Any wear on the side opening is extremely minimal as well and again only a minor point so overall this is a very well cared for and great looking original album package.
