GROUP HISTORY: MANFRED MANN were easily one of the best, and most successful, of the 1960's English Invasion bands. Lovingly referred to as THE MANFRED's, they scored a seemingly endless run of chart successes that spanned decades including later incarnations as MANFRED MANN'S EARTH BAND and MANFRED MANN CHAPTER THREE. No one could argue that they were the most musically diverse group of their era, recording Blues, Jazz, Merseybeat, Sixties Rock, Soul, Sixties Pop, TV & Film Soundtracks, early Dylan covers, Psychedelia and, even, Prog-Rock and Classical!
