Vocal group, The Manhattan Transfer, on the super collectable Mobile Fidelity Audiophile label. Half-Speed Mastered from the original master tapes and pressed on Anadisc 200 Gram Vinyl by RTI Record Technology. These are among the finest recordings ever produced and very limited in quantity.
Gatefold album jacket shows very little wear. Corners are not completely sharp. Vinyl is as new.

Review: This fourth album by the Manhattan Transfer was the first for Cheryl Bentyne, who replaced Laurel Masse after the original singer's auto accident and subsequent decision to leave the group. Though replacing Masse was difficult, Bentyne's energy and style proved to be the perfect complement to the group's already dynamic performance. Hits from EXTENSIONS include "Twilight Zone" and "Birdland," which earned the group their first Grammy for Best Jazz Performance, Vocal or Instrumental.
The MFSL Anadisq 200 Series are mastered with the GAIN SYSTEM and were designed to get the most from your sound system while capturing the incredible realism and presence in the listening experience without the annoyance of surface noise, distortion, hiss and disc warpage.

Records are shipped in a protective plastic sleeve with the record on the outside of the jacket to prevent jacket-splitting. All records will be shipped in heavy duty cardboard with pads on either side for added protection. More valuable albums will be double-boxed for added protection. Shipping prices below are for single records. Multiple record sets and combined shipping of more than one auction will be based on weight and package size. In that case, please wait for an invoice to be sent before making payment.
Shipping for records within the USA is $4.00 for the first LP and $2.00 for each additional LP sent at the same time. These will be sent USPS Media rate with "Delivery Confirmation" which guarantees a tracking number.
