Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Impulse laminated gatefold STEREO vinyl LP A-19 (Van Gelder stamped A Side dead-wax) - released 1962
EX vinyl retains newish shine and gloss with a few sleeve marks. May have been played once or twice previously. Play test on NAD C555 turntable revealed mostly rich vivid stereo sound. Track 1 B Side displayed some vinyl inherent surface. EX laminated gatefold cover. Lower right corner has small cover tear with laminate peel, and four other thin laminate edge separations. Interior has some discoloration consistent with age. Due to firm spine hinge I opted not to photograph inner gatefold. Artists include Bob Brookmeyer, Oliver Nelson, Jim Hall and Eddie Costa.
