Rare 1st press of the debut solo LP from this legendary German guitar player and leader of cosmic rockers the Ash Ra Tempel. E2-E4 was the first solo recording from Manuel, and only 1,000 copies were pressed on the German INTEAM GmbH label. Named after a chess move the album comes in the original embossed chess board design sleeve. The album consists of a minimalistic hour-long electronic track that is subdivided according to the stage of the song. Often held up as a massive influence on House music, this sublime recording truly was years ahead of its time and wouldn't sound out of place in a club today. A true rarity that rarley comes up for sale, barley played and in stunning condition throughout.

Condition: The disc grades as NEAR MINT. The vinyl is pristine and looks un-played, playback is perfect and sounds like new. Labels are clean, no writing, stickers or marks, no spindle marks on either side. The embossed outer sleeve grades as EX+, clean and flat, pristine spine, a couple of very minor scuffs on the top edge. No other creases, marks, ring wear or writing of any kind. Comes in original pristine plain white inner sleeve.
