Description
I bought this from the Marc Bolan Fan Club in 1981 where they were offering a small number of white label, clear vinyl promos of their 12 inch picture disc of the release of Sing Me A Song (which featured prominently on his TV series Marc just before his death in 1977), a version of Endless Sleep, and the most interesting track on the EP, an original 60's out take The Lilac Hand of Menthol Dan.
I've decided to sell a few things as we are visiting Iceland in the summer and I like to have a few gig spends and our Iceland trip is sucking up a fair part of our spare cash.
There's no cover with it but a white inner sleeve. I know I've only played the 12 inch a few times because I also have the original 7 inch Return of The Electric Warrior which contains these tracks and also the 12 inch Picture Disc (alas the boring one with no errors on it).
The vinyl is in VG+ condition although I hesitate to go for near mint as it is just a little grubby after 37 years of not being played. I know different folks like to clean their records in different ways so I've not tried to clean it. On the proper printed side is a slight manufacturing fault where the label didn't quite stick down neatly (there's a couple of faint fold marks on it, but it is firmly fixed onto the record).
Give me a shout if you have any queries. The last one I saw sale went for £40, so a fairly modest price (and sorry I'm not going to put it on offer for any less than this; I'd rather hang onto it than sell it cheap).
