''Fuck Me Jesus'', the first demo of the band MARDUK from Norrköping, dates back to 1991. Apart from being a popular T-shirt motif, it is of course also musically a total Swedish Black Metal cult of the first hour. The band triggered a wave of indignation because of this explicit demo, but thus immediately remained indelibly in memory & is considered one of the blackest black metal bands in Sweden to date. Guitarist Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson is now the only member left from back then. Analogous to their distance from the typical black metal scene, MARDUK's music is not typical black metal either. The focus is clearly on a heavy, brutal and less melodic sound. This demo is an interesting foray into the band's early days and a lasting monument to the controversy MARDUK so willingly caused. Here comes the 2022 re-issue of this classic in orange vinyl, limited to only 200 copies with black silkscreen on the B-side, plus a printed innersleeve.
