GRADING DESCRIPTIONS

We don't use M or M- in our description of vinyl records.
Mint vinyl would basically mean they are completely perfect.
This is because we don't believe any used vinyl can be an accurate description.


• MS: Manufactured sealed, brand new.
• EX: Like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects or not.
• VG++: Extremely nice. Would be EX, except for a possibly a couple of light hairlines or scuffs.
• VG+: Still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light scuffs, surface marks, hairlines, could be light surface sound.
• VG : A nice, but used record that may have a series of moderate scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a some pops, surface noise.
• G : A well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have serious surface noise, pops, scratches.
• ACCEPTABLE : A very well-worn record that plays through, probably has snap, crackle, pop, surface noise, scratches, all possible on this condition.
