Description
Super Rare!!! The great Cuban punting singer, Maria Romero, "La Matancera", sings Usando Penicilina (Puento Guajiro - with Alejandro Aguilar) and Es Mi Gusto (Punto Espirituano) on circa 1949 RCA 78 23-0605. This copy is really in beautiful condition, except for a very tiny crack that is very faint and does not come all the way through the grooves. It is like the beginning of a crack that is not yet fully cracked. Hard to explain, but I try to show it in the photo. If you look carefully you will see a faint line going through half the record. I recognize that this lowers the value somewhat but it actually does not affect the play. I listened through on both sides and don't hear it at all. This record sounds absolutely amazing and is otherwise in beautiful shiny condition. I am pricing it at half its value. Her records are impossible to find and this is a beautiful copy despite this flaw.
