Description

VERY RARE 7" Single - Marianne Faithful - A side "Something Better " B side "Sister Morphine" 1969 on Decca label F 12889   Inverted Matrix No. XDR44442/3. Original copies of this record are scarce - The 1969 release was written the previous year by Mick Jagger & Keith Richards it provided the B side, but was taken off the shelves within days due to drug references etc.
Discogs state - "only 500 copies were released before it was discontinued and withdrawn from sale."
This vinyl record is in very good clean condition. Centre label on B side has a small scuff where a sticky label once used to be (i think). Please check through all photos closely before deciding to bid, as they are also part of description. Thanks for looking & reading.
