Marion - Demo Tape
This is a very interesting item, I obtained this item with some other demo tapes and promotional tapes a while back. This is a demo tape of the Manchester Indie Rock band 'Marion' and features demo versions of some of their tracks and also some re-recordings of these tracks. I am sure that these demos are probably going to be different versions to those released. There is also a track called 'Moving Fast' that I can not find on their discography, this is more than likely an unreleased track. This will be of particular interest to New Order collectors due to the appearance of Phil Cunningham who is now a member of the group New Order and who has also worked with the New Order related group Electronic.
This is a unique find and a piece of Manchester and Britpop history.
The track listing can be seen in the photos.
The cassette is in excellent condition as is the insert. There is a small crack on the clear plastic on the middle of the cassette body but this is only cosmetic and minor.
I have never seen another copy and I could not find any reference to this online.
I have more New Order concert memorabilia in my other auctions this week.
Please check out my other items for more rare music memorabilia up for sale this week.
Any questions, please ask.
Happy Bidding !
