MARIUS CULTIER "De La Martinique" ORIG London LP Canadian Latin Jazz Funk RARE
Auction is for an ULTRA RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY PRESSING of MARIUS (CULTIER)'S "SELF TITLED (…DE LA MARTINIQUE)" LP from 1969 on London Records. Much sought-after and elusive early session from Marius Cultier featuring a nice selection of latin jazz with funky rhythms. Contains the highlight "Coco Boogaloo" which has been comped in past. Not that one that comes up often especially in such top condition. Cover has slightest hint of ringwear and very mild corner ding at bottom left. Vinyl is a stunning NM. As far as I can see, this may be the nicest copy to hit eBay… you'd be hard pressed to upgrade!
