Description
Down the Road Wherever, Mark Knopfler’s ninth studio album, was created at his own West London recording bolthole, British Grove Studios. The legendary artist has worked with long-time producer collaborator Guy Fletcher on the follow-up to his 2015 album Tracker, which received global critical acclaim. The record stays true to the folk and roots-inflected ambience of his solo oeuvre, but introduces new elements of jazz, funk and even a hint of the rockier leanings of earlier days.
This super deluxe box set includes the album on double-LP and deluxe CD (featuring two bonus tracks), and also features a 12” with four additional tracks. Also included are a 12” art print and a 12” guitar tablature.
