Description

Pure Acoustic Master Tape - Volume 1 & 2.  Pianist Lois Shapiro plays Haydn SONATA # 49 & Ravel VALSES NOBLES.

MARK LEVINSON Audio Systems, Woodbridge, Connecticut.  ONLY played for system testing.  

The LP's are titled Pure Acoustic Master Tape Reference Recording Series, Volume One and Volume Two.  They both have plain white jackets (NM).  Vinyl for both is NM.  Also included is a description of the series and information on the Mark Allen concert grand piano used for the demonstration recordings. 

LP Catalog Number: MAL 1 & 2 (Very First Press USA Blue Label)

Made in the United States by Mark Levinson.

This is one of a handful of very well-respected records that came out of the high-end audiophile launch in the U.S. during the early to late '70s. This is the very first Levinson issues on LP.

These Blue Labels only showed up at Levinson dealers.
