Description

This is a fine rare U.S. promo pressing copy of a 1969 LP by Markley.  This was effectively the sixth and final LP by the West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, a strange outfit even by the standards of late '60s Los Angeles.  The group's primary output was for Reprise; of their two post-Reprise 1969 LPs, this one is superior to my ear.  The jacket has creasing in one corner; light ring, corner, and seam wear; a small checkmark written in pen on the front cover; and a sticker stain on front cover (see photos for details) -- EX(-).  "For D.J. Use" is stamped on the back cover (see photo).  Visually, the disc has some light scraping, scuffing, and loss of glossiness.  The run-in grooves to each side are a bit noisy, but otherwise it plays with light surface noise -- overall EX-.  “Promotional/Not for Sale” is printed on the disc labels (see photo).  The record comes with a one-sided insert (EX-).

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
