MARLEY - CATCH A FIRE - UK 1st Pressing - Original Pink Rim Label- Rare! Zippo cover. Rare inner sleeve. Beautiful example.
This is a rare variation 1st vinyl oressing of the legendary 1973 UK Zippo Catch A Fire Album. The LP is the original pressing with all the expected Matrices and scratched out matrices.
Zippo cover is the version with Rondor printing attribution and no address under the Island logo on back cover.
Most interesting and what I have never seen is the light blue inner sleeve with original Basing street address from Island’s first office. I’ve seen the white sleeves with nothing and some with the later address. I thought this was super cool.
This is a really nice Vinyl 1st pressing. The labels are in great condition. Vinyl itself is in excellent condition except for one small scuff that shows up only under bright light (does not effect play). Plays and sounds beautifully!
The rivet has been removed to protect from damge but the whole is still intact. Very easy to put in a new rivet but I didnt as it just causes more damage.
