MARSHALL STARR -- Never Knew How Much I Loved You/The Winter Green -- hard to find, original 1981 U.S. 45 single.  Apparently unknown private press Modern Soul 45 from singer with classic Smokey Robinson-style vocal delivery.  B-side "The Winter Green" is especially appealing but both songs are excellent smooth soul ballads, really good stuff.  In generic sleeve.  Record:  Fair-, moderate scuffs and surface marks, light mottling visible in surface of vinyl at outer edge, possibly from original printing defect or very slight heat damage; audible for first few seconds on A-side before vocals begin; on private press Starr label, U.S. pressing, stereo.  To hear short sound clip, click on link below.    Click to listen
