MARTHA VELEZ - "Fiends & Angels"  Velez was well known for her strength vocally and had dealt with a number of critically positive references to the late Janis Joplin.  Her psychedelic sound mixed with elements of blues and harder rock, she was a force to be reconed with, and this ws and is a very RARE LP to find.  This is the Gatefold U.S.A. presing on the heavier bond and is rubber stamped as a DJ Copy but no reference is on the LP labels.  despite being a more promoted American release it (or at least a few more were pressed here - due to sheer size f the country I suppose), it ws recorded in London with a who's who of sesion and very famous (or soon to be, in the rumored assistance of Hendrix), known players were among but not limited to Eric Clapton, the Who, Jack Bruce, Mitch Mitchell, Spit James, Pete Shelly and many more...most of whom received no credits on the finished product.  This was very common in the 60's in London...consider JJimmy Page who was said to have played on as many as 1000 recordings before joining ranks with his team from Led Zepplin.  All in all, a fantastic blend of strong musicianship and a far under-rated singer at the healm...a true collectors piece.

GATEFOLD COVER: NM  NO Seam splits, NO ringwear, NO discolorations.  All in all in fantastic condition and stamped as a DJ Copy

VINYL: NM- A very light amount of surface scuffing due almost entirely t the ins and outs of the inner paper sleeve 

LABELS: NM A small touch of spindle hole wear, otherwise immaculate
