Martin Slavin Sextet-From CBC Vancouver b/w Charles Coleman Trio-From CBC Ottawa, CBC Radio Canada Transcription, LM-33, 1960s.

Extremely rare Canadian/broadcast-only jazz split LP featuring material by Henry Mancini, Jorge Ben and original material from Slavin and Coleman. This album was only for radio play, pressed in minor quantities (100 or less), and never sold in stores. Early LM (light music) titles are virtually extinct/off-the-radar of most serious collectors, and most importantly, heavily enjoyable spins for fans of sunshine pop, vocal jazz, and soft jazz groove. Comes w/ stock CBC Radio Canada stock soft 12” sleeve. Deep cuts. Recommended.
