Description
MARVIN GAYE - Let Your Conscience Be Your Guide / Never Let You Go
Original 1961 USA pressing 45 on Tamla Records. Promo copy (stamped; the only promo made for this elusive early Motown release). Both sides written/prod by Berry Gordy.
Labels as shown. I think the record was unplayed before I got it. I played the top side once, second half. Top side is NM except for the last bit; there's a V-shaped scratch on edge of label that intrudes 1/4" into the last grooves. it's more on top of the grooves than down into them. But it produces a low-level tick (well underneath the music) for the last 25 seconds (the end of which is in the dead wax margin), for about 20 revolutions. Flip side is NM.
Record is visually EXCEPTIONALLY clean. Gorgeous copy.
