Description
This is an LP by Marvin Gaye called What's Going On on Tamla Records TS310 from 1971. The record plays VG+ with nice tone and sound. There are four scuffs or scratches in the last two songs on Side 2, and two on Side 1. There are no sticks or skips. The label has T 310 on both sides. The matrix has A4RS-2682-2-D TS-310 HS-1867 on Side One, and A4RS-2684-2-D TS-310 HS-1868 on Side 2 (see photo) in the matrix which indicates it is a first pressing. The cover is also VG+ with some wear on the front and back, and also some scratches on the front, one fairly large one through the title (see photos). The bottom right corner looks like it is cut but it is a factory issue and not a cutout. It is like it is rounded off. (See last 2 photos.) On the inside this is folded under where the lyrics are pasted as if it was supposed to be this way. It is not that way on the record side of the gatefold. It includes the original inner sleeve advertising Motown posters and their fan club for sale on one side, and albums available on Motown on the other. A few songs feature background vocals and talking by former members of the Detroit Lions. Great Album!
