On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Marvin Gaye called 'Whats Going On?' and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 'Earliest' 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Tamla Motown label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT IS AN ALL TIME CLASSIC LP - AND HAS TO BE REGARDED AS MARVIN GAYES MOST SOUGHT AFTER LP EVER!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - AND ONLY AN ABSOLUTELY TINY HANDFUL WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS LP WAS CHANGED IMMEDIATELY AFTER IT WAS RELEASED BACK IN 1971 AND WHILST LATER PRESSINGS ARE MORE EASILY FOUND - THIS ULTRA RARE 1971 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN WHAT MAKES THIS LP SO SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!

FIRSTLY THE VINYL IS FAR FAR THICKER THAN ALL LATER PRESSINGS - WITH ULTRA THICK VINYL (LATER ONES WERE MUCH THINNER)!!!!  SECONDLY THE MATRIXES ARE THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE - BEING A-1/B-1!!!!  AND THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT - AS THESE WERE CHANGED STRAIGHT AFTER RELEASE - WITH ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAVING HIGHER NUMBERED MATRIXES!!!!  AND LASTLY THIS LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL & ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC SHEET'!!!!  AGAIN ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER HAD THIS ULTRA RARE 'LYRIC SHEET' AND IT WAS STOPPED IMMEDIATELY THE LP WAS RELEASED!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS TAMLA MOTOWN LABEL, 1ST PRESS A-1/B-1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS' INNER SLEEVE, ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC SHEET', AND 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' GARROD & LOFTHOUSE COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Tamla Motown UK 1st Pressing and is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is STML 11190 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Tamla Motown Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in SUPERB condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some ULTRA faint touches of MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves and VERY occassional gap - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  THE MEGA RARE 'LYRIC SHEET' IS IN AWESOME CONDITION AND HAS CLEARLY NEVER LEFT THE COVER!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Patents' inner sleeve!!!!  The 1st Press 'Textured' Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO rubbing (IMPOSSIBLE on this cover!), barely ANY edge wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), NO ringwear, barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  And showing just exactly how MEGA early this 1st Pressing really is - there is even a 'Factory Sample' in the back top left corner on the cover back!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!
