This is a live recording of a performance given on the fourth day of "Five Days In Jazz" held in Tokyo in May 1975. The performance, given under the heading "An Evening for Ellington" was dedicated to Edward Kennedy Ellington, who died of pneumonia in columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York on May 24, 1974. The cover is graded VG+ and comes with inner picture/information sheet graded Excellent. The vinyl Lp is graded Excellent. The track listing is as follows: Sophisticated Lady, In A Sentimental Mood, Satin Doll, One For Duke, Blue Rain, Stevie! The three performers in this album Masaru Imada, Isoo Fukui and Tetsujiro Obara made this their last performance as a regular trio. A great and hard to find Lp from Masaru Imada Trio, One For Duke, in nice condition!
