Matt Lucas-“You Gotta Love” b/w “I’m So Thankful (Instrumental)”, Quality, 2129X, 1975.
Rare Canadian-only northern/crossover soul double-sider cut in Detroit by US ex-pat who was living/working in Canada at the time. Musicians on the session include Minnie Ripperton, Donnie Hathaway, and Phil Upchurch. Superb slice of soul. Nice Canada/US connection here.
