A very rare White Label Promotional Copy of THE BEATLES 'FROM ME TO YOU' on Vee Jay # VJ522. Offered is another very rare 45rpm record. In fact it's the second Beatles 45 issued in the USA. It was pressed by Vee Jay Records and released in America only in May of 1963. At that time, no one had heard of The Beatles and thus this 45 didn't sell well at all! So now it's a very sought after 45 by collectors! Side 1 has FROM ME TO YOU and Side 2 features THANK YOU GIRL. Again, this 45 didn't sell well even though The Beatles were becoming more and more popular all around England as they were touring exclusively in the UK at this time. It wasn't until January 1964 when The Beatles came to America and were seen on the Ed Sullivan show by 55 million viewers when BEATLEMANIA broke out in America and The Beatles quickly acheived worldwide status!!! This white label DJ promo 45 has clean labels and VG+ vinyl. Comes with the original Vee Jay paper sleeve.
