THE-BEAT-PSYCH-PROG-ROCK
Hi, Its time to clear out most of my records. As you will see by my user name I am very into mainly music from 1964-1973.I was lucky to be around at a great time in the UK and I was able to see most of the classic bands and I collected some great records. I am very clued up about different UK pressings as I have collected vinyl for around 30 years. I will be adding some gems from now on from my collection. I have taken great effort in my pictures so that you will see my items are very carefully graded, I think my pictures will show this. This was May Blitz first Lp, it is simply a superb very heavy progressive rock LP and for me they where one of the best acts on the vertigo label at the time. Both may blitz Lps are great and worth a place in any progressive rock collection. I saw The band play a few times and even remember talking to them before a gig, they where a great bunch of guys.
The Record
The record is in very nice condition and plays very well. I have played the Lp a couple of times tonight and if you can this one must be played loud!!!! I will grade as a very nice NEAR EXCELLENT for visual grading with a higher playback grade. There is just a very soft non sounding surface mark on side 2 taking this from the full excellent.The record has been correctly graded under direct strong light bulb . The LP has not been played to death and still has its superb full gloss.

The Labels
As you will see by the pictures the labels are superb.I will grade as a top EXCELLENT++ condition.
The Cover
Like so many covers of the late 1960's /early 1970's this cover features brilliant far out art work. This cover is in nice condition even more so for its 34 year age. I will grade as NEAR EXCELLENT Condition, just a little edge wear with a tiny sticker tear INSIDE the gatefold.The spine titles are all fine and readable. As you will see by the pictures this grading is very strict and very kind to the buyer of this wonderful LP.A small name has also been rubbed out inside the cover but this is very minor and most would have not said.
The Inner Cover
The original Swirl inner cover is in strong condition with no side splits etc. I have placed the LP in a new inner to stop damage to this original when in the post.

A nice example of a true prog classic.

I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All records are sent out in a plastic cover with the record NOT inside the front cover to stop splits and damage. I will also place the LP in a new inner cover to stop damage to the original when in the post. Insurance is available . The choice is yours if you take it or not. I will get a proof of posting for all items sent out. I will not be responsible for lost post if insurance is not taken.
