WOWEE!!  We found this bunch of actual REALLY RARE records.......that aren't hardcore punk!!!  (sorry HC Kids)

MAY BLITZ    “The 2nd Of May” LP

released 1971 - FIRST PRESSING   This record is in great shape considering its age and genre.   I would grade it VG+.   It was played for a short time, and then archived until now.   Each side has some light surface marks.  It plays very clean, just some light background noise between songs.  There are machine stamped matrix numbers.  The original UK Vertigo LARGE swirl labels are very clean with some light spindle marks only visible under angled light, no writing or wear either.  The original gatefold cover is VG++, and has some edge and corner wear and some staining top left corner and rubbing.   There are definitely no split seams, creases or major damage.  It also comes with the original B&W Vertigo Swirl inner sleeve, with the typical edge discoloration they seem to have sometimes.    This label variation has the word "Vertigo" underneath the spindle hole on the side B label.   From www.vertigoswirl.com:
“Just a little bit more restrained than their debut, and that turns out to be an advantage. Growling guitars still reign, most exquisitely so on 8 mad grim nits, a classic muscular piece of rock. There is some acoustic guitar now too, even something that resembles folk-rock on The 25th of December, a julesong, no less. High beech has a nice mixture of electric and acoustic elements and Just thinking is as fragile as it gets, thereby ending the album on an unexpectedly placid note. Still quite a heavy album, of course, but the increase of diversity should attract even listeners who have their doubts about this genre.”   Line-up: James Black, voc, gtr/ Reid Hudson, voc, bsgtr/ Tony Newman, dr.
