••••• Power heavy jams...hard stoner prog / psych...one of the most wanted records in the underground heavy seventies scene. The mighty May Blitz powerhouse kills it with the stoner sludge groove of "Smoking the Day Away." TRUE FIRST PRESS ON THE LEGENDARY VERTIGO LABEL.

- label is the large Vertigo "swirl"
- the dead wax shows machine stamped "6360-007-1-1 520-300-7-0 /6360-007-1-1 520-300-7-0"
- cover is laminated gatefold
CONDITION:
VINYL = VG Sleeve scuff/rubbing/hairlines/light play marks visible under bright halogens. The labels are VG+ with light spotting on side 2.
PLAY GRADE = STRONG VG OR BETTER Hiss or crackle between tracks and subdominant in background, more audible in quiet sections, LOUD MUSIC EASILY OVERPOWERS WITH HUGE BOLD DEEP BOOMING FIDELITY.
COVER = VG+ Light sign of storage or handling wear, streaking/impressions to laminate gloss, light creasing near edges, small sticker residue spot lower corner, inside gatefold has ink writing next to songs & has foxing/spotting/discolor (but no moldy smell) , COLORFUL BOLD BRIGHT. The edge seams are ROCK SOLID, SPINE LEGIBLE. Corners are EX sharp. The inner sleeve is generic.
