Rolando Alphonso And The Beverly's All Stars on the B Side with 'Dreamland' - This is the same Rolando Alphonso that did Pheonix City on Doctor Bird back in 1966 (or was it 1967 again, I dno't think so but corrections invited)

Why are so many of my records in such good condition?
Two main reasons, the first, many were promotional discs sent to me by Agents or Management Company's of different Bands as 'samples' so as to pave the way for my booking them to appear at either of Katies Beeston Nottingham or Sandpiper Nottingham or Sherwood Rooms & De Montfort Hall Leicester
Secondly, many were bought when we owned a Wine Bar I would record chosen tracks or singles to cassette and these tapes would then be left playing during the relevant time of day or evening, hence the eclectic mix of music now available most of these singles or albums might only have been played a few times but probably never more than a dozen times
