MC5, Back In The USA. This is the original UK Stereo issue of their second album recorded at GM Studios in Detroit during 1969 & released in January 1970. The MacNeill Press fully laminated Sleeve is in EX Condition, the plain company inner is in EX Condition and the Vinyl is in EX Condition. With great tracks from MC5 including; 'Looking At You & Teenage Lust'. With the original red & plim Atlantic Labels, the A-1 B-1 Matrices & 1-1-3 1-1-2 Stampers of the earliest first Presses! Description
This is the original UK stereo issue, with the red & plum Atlantic labels and the earliest A//1 B//1 matrices and 1-1-3 1-1-2 stampers of the first press!
The second album from MC5 was recorded at GM Studios, Detroit between March & October 1969 & released in early 1970. After the release of their first album 'Kick Out The Jams' in early 1969 the band had been dropped by Elektra after a controversy over US stores not stocking the album. The band were signed by Atlantic and under producer Jon Landau they spent 5 months recording a studio album. The new sound did not go over well with fans and the band were not happy with Landau's production either. Since its release several tracks have become proto-punk classics, including covers by the Damned & Motorhead!
Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen. The matrix nos. are; 2400016, A//1 stamper 1-1-3, B//1 stamper 1-1-2, This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1970 UK stereo issue of this album!
All records are checked on an Acoustic Research deck before being listed and any flaws noted in the listing, so if you have any problems with the record please contact me for a full refund of original price & postage on return of the record (no partial refunds), no quibbles, no problems!! All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2kg.
Royal Mail post to Europe (All EU countries & non EU countries, including Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, etc.), the Rest of the World (Zone 1, including Canada, Japan, Brazil, Korea, China, South Africa, etc.) and the Rest of the World Zones 2 & 3 (the USA, Australia & New Zealand etc).
All Airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to 2kg weight restrictions.
