Error in the first listing! I listed it at £149.99........should have been £49.99 start.....
* NOT a reissue on Rhino, Sundazed, ‘Butterfly’ or Gold Elektra or a 180g pressing….this is the real deal.
* UNCENSORED sleeve notes (see photo) Notes contain the word ‘mother*ucker’
* UK issue LP on red Elektra label from 1969.
* Recorded live at Russ Gibb’s Grande Ballroom in Detroit on October 30/31 1968. “Kick Out The Jams (Mother*uckers)”, became something of a battlecry back in 1968. And that use of the “M” word got them into a lot of trouble: police raided MC5 shows, record stores were cited for selling their album, and the group was dumped by its record company.
* A blistering album, way ahead of its time …a freakin’ power-packed album of punky Detroit high-energy!....
* The glossy vinyl is excellent to near mint. There are no skips or jumps. Hardly any background. A couple of extremely feint marks that don’t affect play. Plays very well with barely any background noise or hiss. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
* The Gatefold Sleeve grades Near Mint. condition. No splits,no writing, no cut-outs, no repairs, no rips, no tape.. Tiny scuff line on front, hardly worth mentioning. Spine text firm and readable. No edges wear. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better one. Worth every penny.
* Will be sent Tracked and Insured to all locations.
