Description

An original 1977 copy from 10 years after the original MC5 explosion. This copy comes from the period in the UK where the 'punk' sound was being re-marketed to the British scene. You want the ROOTS - then you need to go back 10 years earlier.... Matrix A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover. Note how on the spine the band is referred to as the 'MCS'! - which I find quite amusing. We also have the original generic white inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. We will ship the LP in a MOFI anti-static inner for maximum protection.
Vinyl (Ex+) An absolute corker and has seen only the very slightest use. Surfaces are like mirrors and there's barely a single mark visible. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ of playback. Intros and inbetweens are perfectly quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. If you're looking for a clean copy - then this will be the one to go for. Pretty much faultless in everyway. Absolutely perfectly quiet background into those super low-key movements. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. Never heard a cleaner pressing of this title. An absolute banger. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex) A beautifully preserved copy and it feels almost like a new copy when you pick it up. Surfaces are perfectly clean and flat with zero signs of ageing or tarnishing. Spotless! The colours are rendered superbly without fading. The interior looks great with just a touch of light ageing creeping in at the foot. Hardly any edge wear at all - and must have been archived for a large part of its life to look this darn good. The spine is 100% intact and without any wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity and still has perfectly sharp openings. FINAL UPGRADE.
