Grooved original 1st press brown label.
If you are one of those collectors who is ultra-pedantic about the condition of your records, then read on. ~ This lp is not only an original USA first pressing (see scan of label), but it may well be the best copy in existence anywhere, incl. in America.
The sleeve is MINT due to the fact that it is still in it's original shrink. Regarding actual visual condition, let's put it this way; If you email me a question about the sleeve-condition and it has "Does it have any...." or "Is there any.....", the answer will always be "NO". Sellers can use the word "STUNNING!!!!" all they like, but I doubt they could have anything in this condition.
From 1969, this is drop-dead, stone-cold MINT!!!!
Disc has never been played, so of course labels are mint as well.
Visually, disc only has a few radiant-like pressing marks and 2 or 3 paper scuffs under strong light. Also some mould is visible but this disc will come up as EX+ when you clean it on a VPI or similar machine. No doubt about it.
Inner sleeve is original brown/white Elektra with multiple logo's up and down. This is an original inner sleeve as it is re-enforced inside with a polythene-lined white sleeve housing the actual disc. This inner-inner white sleeve has a sort of "Roman" colloseum type design around the label-hole and the perimeter. It is factory-fused to the outer inner-sleeve.
All in all, I sincerely believe that this is among the best, most original/complete copies on the planet. A museum piece.
So, kick out your jams and go for it......really!
Overseas postage for this lp is approx. US$13.00 due to the fact that I intend to use extra materials to pack this which will cause it to go over the standard weight barrier for 1 lp. Reason being that I will try extra hard to have it arrive without it getting damaged. That would be a shame.
I am more than happy to send scans of sleeve via email attachments if you really need to see it.
