Description

This copy of the Beatles' 1964 LP is in wonderful condition, especially the cover. Below you can see more details as to the version and condition but overall this is as clean a copy as you can find in the opened and used market. Note the low opening bid, no reserve.

COVER:
The photos will show just how clean this cover is. The stock is strong and there is little wear or discoloration. All 3 edges are intact and free of tears. No writing or stickers. Color is strong and clear. The inner sleeve is unlabeled generic. My research says this is probably a 2nd issue from Scranton. The number "3" appears to the left side of the RIAA logo. There are no Publishing credits on the back cover and no credit to producer George Martin. The label shows publishing credit to ASCAP on all "I Want To Hold Your Hand."

Overall a really really nice cover.

VINYL:
The vinyl is clean and shiny. There is visible minor paper scuffing and maybe minor scratching but visually it looks to have been played very little. The original owner obviously cared for this and all her records. No siginificant spindle scars are observed. There is a small spindle tear on side one which can be seen. The photos will show you more.
