MEET THE BEATLES

Here is MEET THE BEATLES, on CAPITOL #T2047, the original MONO version without the ASCAP/BMI credits--and no mention of GEORGE MARTIN as producer.  The RIAA # is 3 and it looks great!  The cover is in great shape--a nice VG+.  There is a stamp on the back that says free FREE PROMOTIONAL ALBUM-NOT TO BE SOLD.  No seam splits, light ring wear, slight discoloration on the white, nice cover art.  The vinyl has retained it's luster and looks great but there is a skip on I Want To Hold Your Hand at the end of the song, and on Hold Me Tight there are two pops nearly one after the other.  It's too bad because the rest of this is super and would easily make the VG+ grade.

Shipping Rates

U.S. Shipping Rates for single LPs are $3.75 for Media Mail--alternative shipping arrangements can be made if necessary. 

International rates for single LP records are based on weight and are for 1 standard LP without inserts.  Amount could be slightly higher if it is heavier.  10" LPs are less.  So here goes: 

Canada: $6.00 airmail (no surface on single LPs)

Europe: $11.25 airmail $6.00 surface;

Most Asian countries: $12.50 airmail, $7.25 Surface

Australia and New Zealand: $12.50 Airmail, $6.50 Surface

All other countries email for amount--if you're interested in more than 1 LP, please email.

Shipping costs below are U.S. only for Media Mail (records & books only).  I pack very well to assure a safe delivery.  When available, please use the calculator for items without a flat rate.

Please contact me within 5 days of closing bid. I expect payment within 10 days of close.  If I don't hear from winner within 7 days I may offer item to next highest bidder. 

If you are the winning bidder, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go through checkout and let me know how you intend to pay.  If I don't hear from you I WILL offer the item to another bidder.  Without contact I have no idea if you intend to pay and I have had several non-paying bidders.  If you send a payment without contacting me or acknowledging my reminders, and I offer the item to someone else, I will forward your envelope back to you. 

Item will be shipped within 3-5 days of receipt and clearing of payment. PayPal is the preferred method of payment but I will accept POSTAL Money Orders and cash in a well-concealed and preferably registered letter. Personal checks will take much longer to clear as I hold until check clears from both banks--this will be at least 14 business days (3 weeks).  Sorry, but I will not accept personal checks if someone has even 1 negative regarding a bounced check. 

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE:

I will no longer accept cash payments unless you contact me and send payment out via registered letter within three days of winning unless specific arrangements are made.  Please don't assume that I'll be willing to wait beyond 10 days for payment if you don't contact me.

PLEASE NOTE:

I should mention a few other things:

#1: This does not have the original sleeve.

#2 The photo shown is the "actual" image and not a representation.

#3 The labels are also in VG+ condition. Side one shows a light mark leading from the hole downward about 1/2".  Side two has a couple small very light marks around the spindle hole and a couple on other parts of the label.  These are very fine and not a distraction.  There is also the letter "B" on the yellow of the colorband on both sides of the record.  It measures less than 1/4" and is in ink, not marker.  If you are concerned and would like photos I'd be happy to oblige.
